I am a recent graduate in Veterinary Medicine from Makerere University in Uganda. I have always been passionate about wildlife conservation and my experiences working with various organizations, including the Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Center (UWEC), Murchison Falls National Park and the Kanyanchu River Chimpanzee Project in Kibale Forest National Park, have deepened my passion and understanding of the complex relationships between humans, animals, and the environment.
Being selected for the Master's program in Wildlife Medicine means a lot to me and is a dream come true. Being sponsored for this program has not only provided me with an opportunity to advanced training and expertise necessary to make a meaningful impact in wildlife conservation but also I believe it will open up greater and better opportunities for me to contribute to the field.
In the future, I hope to work in wildlife conservation, applying my knowledge and skills to improve the health and well-being of wildlife populations. I am particularly interested in developing my clinical and research skills, with a focus on applying a One Health approach to disease control in wildlife populations.
